Maruti Brezza Variants Explained

The new Maruti Brezza is available in four main variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. However, choosing a Brezza is not simply about moving from one variant to the next. The equipment can also change depending on whether you choose the new 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet, the 1.5-litre petrol engine or the 1.5-litre CNG powertrain.
The LXi is the entry-level variant, while the ZXi+ sits at the top of the range with features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 360-degree HD camera, ventilated front seats, head-up display and leatherette upholstery.
Here is a detailed look at what each Maruti Brezza variant gets and what you gain as you move up the range.
Maruti Brezza Variants at a Glance
| Variant | What it offers |
| LXi | Entry-level variant with six airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, rear AC vents, keyless entry and more |

Maruti lists six airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, seat-belt reminders, ISOFIX mounts and other safety equipment across all four variants.

Maruti Brezza LXi
The Brezza LXi is the base variant, but it is not stripped down when it comes to basic safety equipment.
It gets six airbags as standard, along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, three-point seat belts for all occupants, ISOFIX child-seat mounts and rear parking sensors with an infographic display.
The LXi also gets central locking, an engine immobiliser, anti-theft security system, tyre repair kit with jack and Suzuki TECT body construction.
One important point is that the LXi is available with the 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet 6-speed manual, the 1.5-litre petrol 6-speed manual and the 1.5-litre CNG 6-speed manual. It does not get the 1.5-litre petrol automatic.

Interestingly, height-adjustable driver seat and auto climate control are available on the LXi Turbo. This is one of the reasons it is important to check the powertrain-specific equipment before comparing variants.

Maruti Brezza VXi
The Brezza VXi is where the infotainment package becomes significantly more useful.
It adds a 7-inch touchscreen audio system, ARKAMYS premium sound, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, four speakers and steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls.
The VXi also gets a remote control app for the infotainment system and an onboard voice assistant.

Brezza Variant Features: What Changes as You Move Up?
The easiest way to understand the range is to look at the major additions at each step.
LXi to VXi
Moving to the VXi brings the main infotainment upgrades.
You get a 7-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ARKAMYS sound, four speakers, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, steering-mounted controls and electrically foldable ORVMs.
On the Turbo version, the VXi also gets a reverse parking camera.
VXi to ZXi
The ZXi adds more comfort and exterior features.
The major additions include an electric sunroof, TFT colour MID, wireless charging, push-button start with Smart Key, rear centre armrest, 60:40 split rear seats, rear parcel tray, dual LED headlamps, floating LED DRLs and roof rails.
Turbo-specific ZXi equipment also includes features such as Blind Spot Warning, Safe Exit Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, front parking sensors and highline TPMS.
ZXi to ZXi+
The ZXi+ is focused on technology, convenience and premium equipment.
It gets the 10.1-inch touchscreen, connected services, OTA updates, navigation, Alexa Auto Voice AI, 360-degree HD camera, head-up display, ventilated front seats, rear fast charging USB ports, cooled glove box, leather-wrapped steering wheel and plush leatherette upholstery.
It also gets the most comprehensive exterior and interior equipment in the range.
Maruti Brezza Variants: The Bottom Line
The LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ cover a fairly wide range of equipment, but the variant names alone do not tell the whole story.
The LXi provides the core safety and convenience equipment, while the VXi adds the touchscreen infotainment system and several everyday upgrades. The ZXi brings features such as the sunroof, TFT MID, wireless charging and more exterior equipment. The ZXi+ adds the most advanced technology and premium features, including the 10.1-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and head-up display.
The other important consideration is the powertrain. The new Brezza can be specified with the 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet, 1.5-litre petrol or 1.5-litre CNG powertrain, and the availability of features can change with the engine or transmission.
So, when comparing Brezza variants, it is worth checking both the variant and the powertrain combination, rather than assuming that every feature is identical across LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+.
